Hurricane Harvey Cleanup in Houston

Our SERVPRO of Northwest Portland rushed down to help with the cleanup and recovery of this nursing home in the greater Houston area. As trained and highly equipped members of a SERVPRO Disaster Recovery Response group, we are always prepared to journey to assist our distant neighbors. The first photo depicts our ASD applied structural drying technicians efforts of drying out the interior of a section of the building. The large poly tubing exchanges damp air with warmer drier air via truck-mounted desiccant dehumidifiers. Rapid water and moisture removal mitigate damage to uncontaminated building elements like the ceilings and fixtures. We fogged antimicrobial and deodorizing agents to sanitize and restore a sense of freshness. By looking down the hallway, it is clear to see how the will to help, highly skilled technicians and the availability of industry-leading equipment allow SERVPRO to excel at storm damage restoration.
